NullPointerException w tablicy 2D

Napisałem ten kod (samowystarczalny), który rzuca NPE, który mnie wkurza. Obejmuje tablicę 2DRay obiekty używane w modelu. TheRay obiekty są inicjowane i ustawiane na model. Gdy są wymagane poza modelem, kod wywołujemodel.getRays(). W tym momencie kod iteruje tablicę 2D i rejestruje każdy obiekt, ponieważ .. Zaledwie 2-3 linie po wywołaniu kodugetRays(), pierwszym elementem tablicy 2D jestnull!

Nie występują żadne wątki, które mogłyby kolidować z obiektami w tablicy, więc jestem zakłopotany co do ich możliwościnull tylko chwile po testowaniu zawierają prawidłowe obiekty.

Co jest nie tak z tym kodem i jak go naprawić?

Wydajność

To pokazuje ostatnią część wyjścia sprawdzającą cogetRays() powróci, a następnie NPE.
