matplotlib: jak zapobiegać nakładaniu się etykiet osi X

Generuję wykres słupkowy z matplotlibem. To wszystko działa dobrze, ale nie wiem, jak zapobiec nakładaniu się etykiet osi X na siebie. Oto przykład:

Czy jest jakiś sposób, w jaki mogę zapobiec nakładaniu się etykiet na siebie? Idealnie w sposób automatyczny, ponieważ nie mogę przewidzieć ilości pasków.
