Chcę, aby mój pakiet Pythona był „instalowany pip”. Problem polega na tym, że pakiet ma skrypt powłoki, który musi być dostarczony w skrypcie startowym użytkownika (np..bashrc).

Ale po instalacji użytkownik nie wie dokładnie, gdzie poszedł skrypt (prawdopodobnie/usr/bin, ale nie możemy zagwarantować). Oczywiście użytkownik może działaćwhich myscript.sh i ręcznie edytuje swój skrypt inicjujący.

Ale chcę zautomatyzować ten krok. Mogę utworzyć nowe polecenie distutils, alepip install nie nazywa tego. I mogę przedłużyćdistutils.command.install.install, ale instalacja przerywa się przez pip (chociaż działa przezpython setup.py install):
