Jak dodać pole wyszukiwania GoogleMap do mojej spersonalizowanej mapy?

Rozwijam własną mapę za pomocą Google API i IGN API (mapa francuska) i chciałbym dodać pole wyszukiwania mapy Google, ale nie mogę znaleźć sposobu na sukces nawet po uważnym przeczytaniu interfejsu API Google Maps.
