Implementação uniforme de reconhecimento facial LBP circular

Eu estou tentando implementar um sistema básico de reconhecimento de face usando Uniform Circular LBP (8 Pontos em 1 unidade de raio de vizinhança). Estou tirando uma fotoredimensionando para 200 x 200 pixels e depoisdividindo a imagem em pequenas imagens 8x8. Eu então computo o histograma para cada pequena imagem eobter uma lista de histogramas. Paracomparar 2 imagens, Eu cculo a distância qui-quadrada entre os histogramas correspondentes e giro uma pontuação.

Eu fiz uma experiência emBanco de dados da AT & T tirando 2 imagens de galeria e 8 imagens de sonda por assunto. O ROC para o experimento veio a ser:

No ROC acima,eixo x denota a taxa de aceitação falsa e aeixo y denota a taxa de aceitação genuína. A precisão parece ser ruim de acordo com os padrões Uniform LBP. Tenho certeza de que há algo errado com a minha implementação. Seria ótimo se alguém pudesse me ajudar com isso. Obrigado pela leitura.

EDITAR:

Acho que cometi um erro no código acima. Eu estou indo no sentido horário enquanto o papel no LBP sugere que eu vá no sentido anti-horário enquanto atribuo pesos. A linha:c = R * math.sin(2 * math.pi * point / P) deveria estarc = -R * math.sin(2 * math.pi * point / P). Os resultados após a edição são ainda piores. Isso sugere que algo está errado com meu código. Eu acho que a maneira que eu estou escolhendo as coordenadas para a interpolação é confusa.

Edit: next eu tentei replicar o código @ bytefishAqui e usei o hashmap uniforme para fazer a implementação Uniform Circular LBP.

Eu também fiz um experimento baseado em rank. E tenho essa curva CMC.

Alguns detalhes sobre a curva CMC: o eixo X representa as fileiras. (1-10) e o eixo Y representa a precisão (0-1). Então, eu tenho uma precisão de 80% + Rank1.
