Então, no meu modelo {{MEDIA_URL}} {{p.images}} retorna o URL corretohttp://127.0.0.1:8000/site_media/media/products/co_macysLogo3.gif, mas quando eu abro eu ficoPágina não encontrada.

O arquivo está lá, então não sei por que está reclamando. Eu olhei para 3 ou 4 outras perguntas no SO que são semelhantes às minhas, mas nenhuma das suas respostas resolveu o meu problema. Estranho que minha {{STATIC_URL}} funcione bem, mas a não {{MEDIA_URL}}. Eu obviamente usaria STATIC_URL se pudesse, apenas para que meu aplicativo funcionasse, mas infelizmente o parâmetro upload_to do ImageField do Django só envia imagens para a pasta de mídia.

ATUALIZAR: Alterar MEDIA_ROOT paraMEDIA_ROOT = os.path.join(PROJECT_ROOT, "static") e chamar minha imagem por meio de {{STATIC_URL}} {{p.images}} resolveu o problema. Eu gostaria que houvesse um jeito melhor. Eu ainda não entendi porque o Django não pode servir um arquivo de imagem do MEDIA_URL.
