¿Cómo agregar caché LDAP en LDAP de primavera?

Quiero almacenar en caché los datos del usuario LDAP localmente para permitir consultas más rápidas. ¿El Spring LDAP ofrece tal funcionalidad? ¿Cómo puedo hacer esto?

Estoy utilizando Spring Security 3.1 y Spring LDAP 1.3.1 para la autenticación y autorización. Sería bueno tener un caché para LDAP usando un mecanismo incorporado si existe.
