Android Wi-Fi Direct: onPeersAvailable

Estou desenvolvendo um aplicativo simples baseado em WiFi Direct para Android que tem que conectar dois dispositivos. Para fazer isso eu preciso chamar a função onPeersAvailable (myPeerListListener), mas não sei como.

Meu aplicativo tem esses dois elementos:

Até agora, meu código deve ser capaz de detectar peers em torno do dispositivo que está executando o aplicativo, que ID deve ser armazenado na variávelmyPeerListListener. Tudo isso ocorre na segunda intenção do método BroadcastReceiver chamado OnReceiv (), chamando:

 manager.requestPeers(channel, myPeerListListener);

Agora eu quero manipular essa lista. Então, seguindo as informações da API, ele deve chamar os requestPeers, você pode ver a API aqui:

Então, o que tentei foi escrever abaixo uma chamada para:

manager.onPeersAvailable(myPeerListListener); 

mas eu recebo este erro:

O método onPeersAvailable (WifiP2pManager.PeerListListener) é indefinido para o tipo WifiP2pManager

Alguém poderia me dizer como eu poderia enviar o PeerListListener para a atividade principal corretamente?
