Estoy ejecutando ubuntu e instalé el paquete python-dbg. Al intentar usar la versión instalada directamente, todo funciona muy bien:

Entonces, he estado construyendo un virtualenv usando el binario del paquetepython2.7-dbg (ya que algunas bibliotecas necesitan recompilarse), usando esta línea de comando:

~$ virtualenv ved -p /usr/bin/python2.7-dbg

Todo funciona bien, pero cuando uso gdb dentro de virtualenv, al menos las impresoras bonitas de Python dejan de funcionar:

~$ . ved/bin/activate
