Tomar una foto con la cámara y enviarla al servidor en bytearray

Estoy trabajando en una aplicación de Andorid en la que me gustaría que el usuario tomara una foto y luego para guardarla la estoy enviando al servidor. Ahora, estoy enviando la imagen como una matriz de bytes al servidor. Cuando intento guardar la matriz de bytes en un archivo como archivo PNG y luego intento abrir el archivo, el visor de imágenes se queja de que PNG tiene errores y no se puede mostrar. El tamaño del archivo PNG era 122Kb.

Cuando intenté usar la biblioteca Scalr para cambiar el tamaño de la imagen, dice que la fuente de la imagen no puede ser nula. Guardar directamente la matriz de bytes está causando un PNG corrupto. ¿Cómo debo convertir y enviar el archivo correctamente al servidor, para que no haya errores? Aquí está el código para la cámara que estoy usando y enviándolo.
