Estoy tratando de guardar los datos recopilados por una página JSP dentro de una base de datos (Postgres). Al principio intenté insertar cualquier valor manualmente (incluyendoid) en un formulario y no tuve problemas para guardar los datos en mi base de datos. Ahora estoy tratando de generar automáticamente elid valores, pero estoy un poco confundido acerca de cómo hacerlo correctamente.

Error cuando presente el formulario

Creo que el problema está en eladdProduct método: elid el valor aún no se creó cuando intenté obtenerlo.

¿Cómo puedo implementar una identificación generada automáticamente? ¿La anotación JPA es la forma correcta de hacer eso?
