Error de DNS con subdominios dinámicos con htaccess

Estoy tratando de implementar subdominios dinámicos para cityes, pero esto no funciona cuando se usa un subdominio. Mi acceso es:

Enhttp://htaccess.madewithlove.be/ la prueba parece funcionar bien, pero en mi servidor aparece el error: ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED
