Estoy tratando de instalar el paquete rncdf en un servidor Ubuntu 10.04:

También descargué el paquete fuente e intenté instalarlo en el shell, pero obtuve el mismo resultado.

R CMD INSTALL ncdf_1.6.6.tar.gz 

Obviamente, el instalador no encuentra el archivo de encabezado correcto. Así que busqué el archivo manualmente y lo encontré:

root@fourier:/usr/include# ls -ahl netcdf.h
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 30K 2009-12-22 04:47 netcdf.h 

Paquetesnetcdf-bin, netcdf-dbg, netcdf-doc, libnetcdf-dev ylibnetcdf4 están todos correctamente instalados.apt-get está actualizado. Esta es la información de mi sesión:
