Este es mi programa que estoy escribiendo. Quiero hacer un contador que mantendrá la puntuación de cada pregunta que se responda correctamente y luego se la mostrará al usuario una vez que las preguntas hayan finalizado. Intenté usar esto:

int score=0;

score=score+1;

No funciona para la segunda pregunta, pero funciona para la tercera ... me da un error. ¿Hay alguna otra manera de hacer esto o estoy haciendo algo mal?
