В GWT 1.7 у меня была общая папка, и я поместил в нее как CSS-файлы, так и мое приложение скомпилировано и работало нормально. Теперь для GWT 2 я создал класс ResourceBundle и поместил все спрайты изображений и CSS следующим образом:

Класс Css - это пустой класс, расширяющий CssResource:

StyleInjector.inject(ResourceBundle.INSTANCE.stylesheet1().getText());
StyleInjector.inject(ResourceBundle.INSTANCE.stylesheet2().getText());
