Como eu estou tentando carregar o módulo de extensão mcrypt da versão PHP 7.2.X.
Então, tentei fazer uso da biblioteca PECL compatível com a versão atual do meu PHP, para instalar e seguir este link:Instalando o mcrypt no PHP 7.2 Durante a instalação!

Como estou recebendo esse tipo de erro comopecl7.2-sp: comando não encontrado

Na seção de documentação, foi declarado claramente que foi reprovado e não estará mais disponível do ponto de vista de segurança - desde então, a partir da versão de lançamento do PHP 7.2.X em diante.

Mas alguns dos projetos precisam dessas dependências para executar a funcionalidade necessária conforme necessário. Como preciso resolver o problema acima?

Eu recebi muita resposta dos votos para a resposta postada. As respostas precisam ser triadas, dependendo do nível da arquitetura do sistema operacional. Como estou usando o servidor compartilhado para hospedagem, há mais de um projeto residindo nele e que são codificados com a versão do PHP 5.XX, então decidi fazer o downgrade para o PHP 7.1.X que suporta a extensão mcrypt por padrão em meu sistema operacional baseado no Debian.

Como eu já mencionei no link enquantoInstalando a extensão mcrypt no PHP 7.2, pela comunidade Server Pilot. Esses povos disseram que uma versão mais recente do pecl-7.2 está disponível para instalar o mcrypt no PHP-7.2. Infelizmente, terminou compecl7.2-sp: command not found dos comandos executados que foram colocados. Mais tarde, a página do site recebeu uma atualização; portanto, os comandos ali não correspondem aos comandos que foram tentados durante a execução.

Por fim, quaisquer que sejam as soluções adequadas ao seu nível de Arquitetura de SO, basta seguir em frente!
