ImportError: nenhum módulo chamado 'pandas.indexes'

A importação de pandas não causou o erro, mas a tentativa de ler um dataframe de pandas escolhido da seguinte maneira:

control_data = pd.read_pickle('null_report.pickle')
test_data = pd.read_pickle('test_report.pickle')

O retorno é de 165 linhas com três exceções simultâneas (o que isso significa). Éread_pickle não é compatível com o pandas versão 17.1 Estou executando? Como retiro o meu quadro de dados para uso?

Eu também tentei carregar o arquivo pickle diretamente do pickle:

via_pickle = pickle.load( open( 'null_report.pickle', "rb" ) )

e obteve o mesmo erro:
