Estou com problemas para configurar uma tarefa do NPM para uma compilação automatizada no Visual Studio Team Services (anteriormente Visual Studio Online). Existem dois problemas:

Erros de bloqueio de cache (mostrados abaixo).É dolorosamente lento - mais de 45 minutos para uma dúzia de pacotes.

Eu adicionei o argumento --cache, mas isso não pareceu ajudar.

npm install --dev --cache $(Agent.BuildDirectory)\b

A pasta de binários parece ser o local certo para o cache, mas sinceramente, não tenho certeza. Alguma documentação aqui:
