Sou iniciante no opencv e tenho uma necessidade real de detectar pessoas / pessoas em algumas imagens, acho a interface python chamada peopledetect.py e olho através do código assim:

Para ser sincero, eu realmente não entendo o princípio da HOG.

Preparo algumas imagens do site opencv e tento fazer alguns testes básicos usando esse código, talvez assim.

$ ./peopledetect.py abba.png
$ ./peopledetect.py luna.jpg

mas não vejo nenhum retângulo desenhado no código em exibição, talvez tenha feito errado ... alguém poderia me ajudar? Muito obrigado..
