como resolver a descoberta de outro dispositivo via Wi-Fi (API do Android)?

Mas parece que tenho um pouco de sorte por lá. Tentei descobrir os pares disponíveis nas proximidades, colocá-los no arraylist, mas parece não ter sorte. Eu não recebi nada.

Meus dispositivos reais 2 são realmente o Android 4.1 e 4.2, uma vez que o Wifi Direct é baseado no nível API 14, que é o Android 4.0+, então eu acho que o meu dispositivo real não é o problema.

O conceito que eu uso é usar 1 atividade e 1 BroadCast Receiver.
