Conversão de minimax com alfa beta poda para negamax

Eu escrevi umminimax algoritmo compoda alfa beta para o jogo Damas, e agora eu estou tentando reescrevê-lo usando onegamax abordagem. Estou esperando que os dois sejam equivalentes, já que o negamax é apenas uma técnica para escrever o minimax. Mas, por algum motivo, meus dois algoritmos se comportam de maneira diferente. Quando eu corro os dois na mesma entrada, a versão negamax parece avaliar mais estados, então acho que algo deve estar errado com a poda alfa beta.

O código abaixo mostra os dois algoritmos (minimax enegamax funções) e na parte inferiorplay função da qual eu os chamo. oevaluate function é a heurística básica que eu uso para avaliar estados em ambos os algoritmos.
