Heyo Peço desculpas antecipadamente se esta questão foi respondida em outro tópico. Eu pesquisei no site, mas não encontrei uma resposta. No entanto, a questão relacionada mais próxima foiRuby on Rails / PostgreSQL - Erro de biblioteca não carregada ao iniciar o servidor - libq.5.dylib, mas nunca foi resolvido, e a resposta não me ajuda.

Estou tentando executar o PostgreSQL no meu Mac OSX 10.6.8. Eu já tenho o Ruby 1.9.3p392 e o Rails 3.2.13 instalado.

Como eu tenho 10.6.8, e PostGresApp requer 10.7+, eu tentei instalar o PG usando o instalador manual (v9.2.3) disponível aqui:http://www.enterprisedb.com/products-services-training/pgdownload

Primeiro instalei-o em seu caminho padrão em: /Library/PostgreSQL/9.2/. Eu então instalei a joia pg (PATH=$PATH:/Library/PostgreSQL/9.2/bin sudo gem install pg). Quando eu tenteirails s Para lançar meu host local, recebi o erro abaixo.

Depois de algumas leituras, eu imaginei que poderia ser um erro de caminho, então eu removi o pg gem e usei o desinstalador postgresql. Eu então reinstalei o pg em /users/stewartmccoy/Library/PostgreSQL/9.2/... e depois reinstalei o pg gem. Mas ainda recebo o mesmo erro.

Alguma idéia de como eu posso instalar corretamente o PostgreSQL e executar meu servidor rails?
