Ball Animation en Swing

l problema es cuando cambio el tamaño de laJFrame la animación continúa con sus dimensiones proporcionadas previamente paraJComponent. ¿Hay alguna manera de actualizar miwidth yheight variables a medida que redimensiono laJFrame, para que la animación pueda ejecutarse junto con las nuevas coordenadas.

En términos más simples, diga elJComponent tiene @ iniciwidth = 300 yheight = 300, entonces elBALL se mueve dentro de estos @ especificadCo-ordinates. Ahora si cambio el tamaño de miJFrame, el tamaño de laJComponent todavía permanece como está, es decir,width = 300 yheight = 300, pero lo que esperaba era una forma de modificar estas variables con el tamaño actual de la ventana. Avíseme si me falta algo para explicar mi problema.
