Cómo usar jQuery con JSF 2.0

Cómo usar jQuery con JSF 2.0

Estoy aprendiendo jQuery. Quiero usar jQuery dentro de mi aplicación jsf 2.0. Como si tuviera un archivo html, en el que estoy usando jQuery como este

Simplemente descargué el archivo jquery-1.7.1.js del sitio web oficial jQuery, lo incluí en mi directorio y luego comencé a usar jQuery.

Quiero preguntar si creo la misma página en JSF2.0, ¿entonces jQuery funcionará de la misma manera o tengo que descargar algún complemento para usar jQuery dentro de mi aplicación JSF 2.0? o para modificar algo dentro de mi web.xml?
