Clase de bean de entidad desconocida después de la implementación en caliente: netbeans 6.9 + glassfish 2.1 + eclipselink jpa 2.0

Cuando implemento mi aplicación, funciona perfectamente hasta que hago un cambio, guardo y netbeans implementa en caliente la aplicación. En este punto, recibo un error de clase de bean de entidad desconocida en una clase que tiene la @entidad y está incluida en mi persistence.xml. Cuando esto sucede, cualquier cosa relacionada con jpa deja de funcionar. Solo si reinicio el servidor, mis cosas jpa comenzarán a funcionar nuevamente.

Si activo la implementación de guardar en mi proyecto y solo guardo e implemento manualmente, obtengo los mismos resultados.

¿Es esto solo un error de netbeans / glassfish? ¿O hay algo mal con mi configuración de jpa?
