Dibuja un texto en una ruta circular en Android

Necesito dibujar un texto en una trayectoria circular. He probado eldrawTextOnPath() método. Pero para textos como "ventana fértil" en la imagen adjunta, el texto gira y no es legible.

Código que he usado:

    titlePaint.setAntiAlias(true);
    titlePaint.setTypeface(Typeface.MONOSPACE);  titlePaint.setLetterSpacing(0.07F);
    titlePaint.setTextAlign(Paint.Align.CENTER);
    titlePaint.setTextSize(35f);

    canvas.drawTextOnPath("FERTILE WINDOW", customPath2, 0, 8, titlePaint);
