La ejecución de código Java produce resultados diferentes en la depuración sin puntos de interrupción y ejecución normal. ¿ExecutorService está roto?

TL: DRExecutorService executorService = Executors.newFixedThreadPool(8); en depuración se ejecuta concurrentemente, pero en tiempo de ejecución normal comienza concurrentemente, pero luego se ejecuta en un solo hilo.

Tengo un código donde comienzo 4 tareas diferentes enExecutorService. Dos de esas tareas deberían terminar casi instantáneamente, las otras dos deberían ejecutarse por un tiempo.

Esas tareas devuelven el tiempo de ejecución en segundos enFuture<Double>.

Este código es responsable de la ejecución y medición de tareas:

Cuando ejecuto el código en modo de depuración, 2 resultados se imprimen inmediatamente, y tengo que esperar un tiempo para obtener el tercer resultado (no me molesto en esperar el cuarto).

Después de comenzar en la depuración (correcta y esperada):

array size: 1000000 quick sort: 0.186892839s merge sort: 0.291950604s insertion sort: 344.534256723s

La ejecución normal difiere, parece que en la medida del métodolong start = System.nanoTime(); se ejecuta, luego el subproceso se queda dormido y después de que insertSortSort se realiza, quickSort vuelve a ejecutarse, lo que da como resultado:

Cuál está mal. Todos esos subprocesos deberían ejecutarse al mismo tiempo, como desde newFixedThreadPool javadoc.

Editar: cuando lo ejecuto en Ideone, el código funciona bien.http://ideone.com/1E8C51 Ideone tiene versión java1.8.0_51 Probé en1.8.0_91, 1.8.0_92. Y1.8.0_45. ¿Por qué funciona en ideone, pero no en otras 2 PC que probé?

Cuando realizo un volcado de subprocesos, mientras no ejecuto la depuración, espero un momento y, después de imprimir el volcado de subprocesos, también se imprimen los resultados. Entonces, el volcado del hilo se realiza después de finalizar la ordenación por inserción.
