Me gustaría cambiar el color de fondo del menú de opciones (desbordamiento) en Android 4.2. He intentado todos los métodos pero aún muestra el conjunto de colores predeterminado del tema. Utilicé el siguiente código y configuraciones XML.

En la imagen de arriba,Quiero cambiar el fondo del menú de negro a azul en la barra de acción. ¿Cómo puedo lograr esto, y lo que hice mal?
