Alteré el config.php en CodeIgniter a lo siguiente:

$config['base_url'] = '';
$config['index_page'] = '';

Siempre que uso mis enlaces para ir a la página acerca de, recibo un mensaje 404 de CodeIgniter. Sin embargo, la URL en mi navegador parece estar 'limpia' (se elimina index.php). Esta es la URL:

'http: // localhost: 8888 / ci_intro / about'
