Estoy utilizando el correo de Java para enviar correos electrónicos a través de smtp. La configuración de smtp que figura a continuación:

        Properties props = new Properties();
        Object put = props.put("mail.smtp.host", smtpHost);
        props.put("mail.smtp.user", smtpUser);
        props.put("mail.smtp.auth", true);
        props.put("mail.debug", mailDebug);
        props.put("mail.smtp.port", port);

Las credenciales de smtp se han verificado mediante telnet a mi smtpHost con los detalles anteriores. Sin embargo, obtengo la siguiente excepción cuando uso la configuración anterior en el correo de Java.

Cuando agrego la línea:

        props.put("mail.smtp.starttls.enable", false);

De nuevo genera la misma excepción de autenticación fallida.

Si pongomail.smtp.starttls.enable acierto, la autenticación se realiza correctamente, pero obtengo la siguiente excepción:

Después de pasar por varios hilos del foro relacionados con la segunda excepción, ejecuté el programa InstallCert para obtener el certificado autofirmado del servidor. losInstallCert lanza la siguiente excepción:

Entonces, parece que mi servidor no tiene ssl, pero starttls está habilitado. ¿Cuáles son los parámetros correctos para enviar correo con STARTTLS activado a un servidor sin ssl?
