parse json string desde wikimedia usando jquery

Estoy tratando de obtener el infobox de las páginas wiki. Para esto estoy usando wiki api. La siguiente es la url de la que obtengo datos json.

http://en.wikipedia.org/w/api.php?action=query&prop=revisions&rvprop=content&format=json&titles="+ first +" & rvsection = 0

Donde primero hay una variable que contiene el título del artículo para Wikipedia.

Me resulta extremadamente complejo analizar estos datos para hacer un html significativo a partir de ellos.

Yo estaba usando$.each funciona inicialmente Pero el bucle es muy profundo y tuve que usar 6-7 veces para obtener los datos reales que deseo. Creo que habría una mejor alternativa que esta. Por favor, ayúdame.
