$ sudo mkdir /var/pgsql_socket/
$ sudo ln -s /private/tmp/.s.PGSQL.5432 /var/pgsql_socket/

Это решение немного сложнее, но оно работает. Надеюсь, у кого-нибудь есть лучшее решение
