té dois dias atrás, eu era capaz de usar a opção "Publicar Web" do Visual Studio 2010 clicando com o botão direito do mouse no meu projeto e clicando no botão publicar no menu de contexto. Agora, quando tento fazer a mesma coisa, obtenho a seguinte saída:

Isso está tentando publicar no host local (para fins de depuração)

Aqui estão as configurações do perfil de publicação que estou usando:

Publish Method: Web Deploy
Service URL: localhost
Site/application: default web site/ELMS
[x] Mark as IIS application on destination
[x] Leave extra files on destination (do not delete)

Já tentei:

- Cleaning/rebuilding the project
- Deleting the bin folder of the project
- Running reg_iis.exe -i
- Reinstalling VS2010

mas nada que eu mudei corrigiu o err

Qualquer insight sobre o que pode estar causando o problema seria muito apreciado:)

O problema realmente se resolveu a partir da minha última reinicialização. Devo ter reiniciado 6-7 vezes desde que o problema se manifestou pela primeira vez, mas desta vez nenhuma mensagem de Referência de Objeto. Aqui está o log da compilação / publicação agora:
