Quero criar um aplicativo Windows x86 na minha máquina Windows x64.

Eu uso o CMake, Ninja, clang-cl, lld-link e o VS Build Tools 2017 com as seguintes CMakeLists

Minha configuração funciona bem para aplicativos x64. Inicializo o ambiente de construção comvcvars64 e chame cmake com

cmake -G Ninja -DCMAKE_CXX_COMPILER:PATH="C:\MeineProgramme\LLVM\bin\clang-cl.exe" -DCMAKE_LINKER:PATH="C:\MeineProgramme\LLVM\bin\lld-link.exe"

Isso resulta em arquivos de compilação ninja perfeitamente finos e produz um executável funcional.

Se eu quiser criar um aplicativo x86, o CMake falhará ao detectar o ambiente de compilação. Inicializo o ambiente de construção comvcvars32 ouvcvarsamd64_x86 e use o mesmo comando acima para chamar o CMake. Isso resulta em erros durante a detecção do ambiente de construção.

O log de erros do CMake possui o seguinte conteúdo

Pelo que entendi, o problema é que o CMake passa/machine:x64 para o vinculador.

Quais modificações devo fazer na chamada do CMake ou no CMakeLists para resolver esse problema?
