Anexar depurador do visual studio ao aplicativo elétron

Estou tentando depurar o aplicativo elétron do visual studio 2017 (e não o vscode) do zero.

Criei um projeto de consolejs, instale e salve elétron. Estrutura do projeto:

No entanto, quando clico em Iniciar, o aplicativo de elétrons é iniciado, mas o processo de depuração parece se desconectar. Quando tento anexar manualmente o depurador a todos os processos de elétrons (Depurar -> Anexar ao processo -> escolher todos os processos de elétrons), o ponto de interrupção alega não ser atingido, pois nenhum símbolo é carregado.

Existe um passo que eu perdi? Como a depuração pode ser feita no VSCode, presumo que também possa ser feita no VS2017?
