Aplicar .htaccess HeaderName a todos os níveis inferiores?

Estou usando o seguinte .htaccess para aprimorar minha lista de diretórios:

Options +Indexes
IndexOptions IgnoreCase FancyIndexing FoldersFirst NameWidth=* DescriptionWidth=* SuppressHTMLPreamble
HeaderName header.html
IndexIgnore header.html footer.html favicon.ico .htaccess .ftpquota .DS_Store icons *.log *,v *,t .??* *~ *#

Carrega o cabeçalho html que contém:

Parece ótimo quando vou para a pasta/test/. No entanto, quando vou para/test/test2/ ele não pega o htaccess anterior, mostrando o estilo padrão chato. Como posso torná-lo aderente / recursivo para as subpastas de camada inferior também?
