Como clonar um repo (comlibgit2)

Eu quero fazer exatamente o quegit clone faz mas comlibgit2. O que eu posso estar perguntando é o quegit clone Realmente faz em profundidade.

Isso é o que estou fazendo até agora:

Inicializar um repoAjuste o arquivo de configuração para adicionar o controle remotoCriar umagit_remoteBaixe um arquivo de pacoteIndexar o arquivo de pacote e escrever o índice (nos dá um arquivo .idx)(editar) Escreva todos os ramos diferentes no disco.(editar) fazergit checkout de algum modo.

E agora não tenho ideia do que fazer. Meu único palpite seria carregar o.idx para umgit_index E usegit_repository_set_index, mas isso não mostrou nenhum arquivo também.

Eu testei correndogit checkout master no repo meio-clonado, e que fez o trabalho. Agora eu só preciso descobrir como fazer isso com o libgit2, e parece que há algumas informações úteis no rastreador de problemas.
