Estou tentando me familiarizar com a elasticsearch criando um programa básico com sua API Java. Estou pesquisando uma resposta há algum tempo, mas não tenho certeza se estou executando as soluções que encontrei incorretamente ou simplesmente não estou vendo o problema real.

Estou usando o elasticsearch-5.1.1 e baixei a versão de transporte mais recente (5.1.1). Também adicionei ambos (incluindo todos os arquivos jar que acompanham o download do elasticsearch) na estrutura do meu projeto.

Adicionei as seguintes dependências ao meu arquivo pom.xml e instalei o xpack seguindo as instruçõesinstruções. Meu pom.xml está localizado no src / lib junto com o meu arquivo log4j2.xml.
