Coleta de coordenadas GPS

Estou criando um aplicativo Android nativo usando o xamarin. O problema é que o aplicativo coleta e exibe as coordenadas perfeitamente no emulador, mas quando o coloco em um smartphone (tentei 2 telefones samsung), ele aparece e não consegue determinar o endereço atual. Dados e locais de informações extras estão ativados, então não tenho certeza de onde está o problema.
