Gostaria de animar o fundo do UIView com cores aleatórias. Aqui está o que eu fiz até agora:

            self.view.backgroundColor = self.colours

            }, completion:nil)
    }

         timer = NSTimer.scheduledTimerWithTimeInterval(1, target: self, selector: Selector("getRandomColor"), userInfo: nil, repeats: true)
    }

    func getRandomColor(){
        let red   = Float((arc4random() % 256)) / 255.0
        let green = Float((arc4random() % 256)) / 255.0
        let blue  = Float((arc4random() % 256)) / 255.0

        colours = UIColor(colorLiteralRed: red, green: green, blue: blue, alpha: alpha)
    }

Mas ele apenas gera uma cor aleatória no início e usa essa única cor na minha animação. Gostaria de encontrar uma maneira de animar cores, para que o UIVIew background parecesse um arco-íris aleatório.
