Sempre que uso algo relacionado ao Git no meu Macbook (Macbook Pro novinho em folha com El Capitan), leva quase um minuto para cada comando. Eu fiz um simples

Estou usando principalmente o SourceTree da Atlassian, mas o problema também persiste na linha de comando git (também, o mesmo ocorre com o log que mostrei). Nossa fonte para hospedar o código são vários repositórios privados pagos pagos no Github.com.

Existe algo que eu possa tentar acelerar as operações do git? Não parece importar qual é a operação, eles são TODOS lentos.
