BufferQueue foi abandonado: Ao reproduzir vídeo com TextureView

Toda vez que pausa minha atividade (na verdade, Fragment) para acessar outro aplicativo, ao retornar com onResume, tento retomar a reprodução do vídeo, mas ele não é reproduzido: uma tela em branco é exibida. Após a investigação, vejo o seguinte no Logcat

FYI: Estou tentando aplicar esta resposta ao meu caso, mas não posso:O que posso fazer quando o BufferQueue for abandonado?
