Javascript para determinar a largura / altura da tabela

Eu tenho alguns JavaScript que estou tentando usar para definir a largura / altura da minha tabela para torná-la fluida em diferentes resoluções. Parece funcionar bem para a largura, mas não consigo fazê-lo funcionar para a altura. Está definindo o número correto na variável correta, apenas não está definindo a altura das tabelas.
