Estou tentando conectar um cliente baseado em PHP a um servidor websocket.

Aqui está o código que tenho usado, que foi amplamente publicado em diferentes fóruns. Mas, por alguma razão, simplesmente não consigo fazê-lo funcionar.

Qualquer ajuda seria apreciada.
