Eu configurei um site PHP que será hospedado localmente. Uma função disso é enviar um email com itens de um carrinho de compras. Quando hospedada on-line (para teste), a função email () funcionava perfeitamente enviando e-mail.

Agora estou transferindo o site para uma máquina local e não consigo enviar e-mails.

Originalmente, os e-mails vinham de [email protected], o que funcionava bem, embora eu felizmente configurasse um gmail ou similar para lidar com o envio.

Eu li alguns tutoriais sobre como configurar e primeiro tentei usar o sendmail e um endereço do Gmail.

Eu estou querendo saber se há algo simples que eu perdi na criação dos arquivos ini.

Eu editei meu arquivo php.ini da seguinte forma:
