Analisar aplicativo / smil tipo MIME MMS no android

Então eu encontrei três categorias de tipos de mensagens MMS:

Plain Text - "text/plain"

Image - "image/jpeg", "image/bmp", "image/gif", "image/jpg", "image/png"

SMIL (Synchronized Multimedia Integration Language) - "application/smil"

Portanto, não tenho problema em pegar os dados em um MMS que se enquadre nas duas primeiras categorias. No entanto, estou tendo problemas para pegar os dados do MMS do tipo de mensagemapplication/smil

Como exatamente você analisa esse tipo de MMS? Como outros aplicativos de mensagens de texto lidam com diferentes tipos de MMS? Qualquer ajuda seria muito apreciada.
