Listar apenas arquivos regulares (sem diretório)

Você sabe por que certos arquivos não são listados por este programa, mesmo que sejam "regulares"?

Como você pode ver, o programa vê apenas dois arquivos. Mas todo arquivo é regular e existe apenas uma pasta.

Gostaria apenas de listar o nome de cada arquivo, mas sem diretórios. Eu trabalho no Mac OS X, mas não acho que isso possa ser o motivo do problema.
