OK, então escrevi a maior parte de um programa que me permitirá determinar se dois círculos se sobrepõem.

Eu não tenho nenhum problema com o meu programa além de um problema: o programa não aceita o código que eu escrevi para a distância entre os dois pontos centrais. Eu posso descobrir a lógica if / else para dizer ao usuário o que acontece dependendo do valor da distância mais tarde, mas eu quero saber o que está errado agora. Eclipse, o programa em que estou codificando, está me dizendo que a distância deve ser resolvida para um array, mas eu já disse que é um int.
