Então, eu tenho algumas extensões do Python C que eu construí e usei anteriormente em Python de 32 bits em execução no Win7. Agora, no entanto, mudei para o Python de 64 bits e estou tendo problemas para criar a extensão C com o MinGW-w64.

Eu fiz as alterações para distutils como poresta postagem, mas estou recebendo alguns erros estranhos sugerindo que algo está errado:

Eu pesquisei bastante para encontrar informações, mas não é fácil encontrar uma resposta definitiva. Alguém poderia lançar alguma luz sobre isso? Que outras alterações devo fazer para conseguir criar com êxito extensões C para o Python de 64 bits no Win7?

Depois de algumas dicas úteis nos comentários de cgohlke abaixo eu consegui gerarlibpython27.a. No entanto, depois de seguir o conselho sobreesta postagem (2 a última) eu ainda tinha um o__imp_Py_InitModule4_64 erro. Depois de alguns graves Google-fu eu consegui tropeçaresta postagem me dizendo para renomear oPy_InitModule4 linha paraPy_InitModule4_64. Depois disso tudo funcionou nadando.
