Edit: Eu finalmente consegui que funcione !!!

Precisava de uma combinação de JUnit no pom.xml e três declarações no meu .scala:

Por alguma razão, tentar configurar o Surefire faz com que os testes parem de funcionar novamente.

Estou codificando no IntelliJ, tentando fazer um teste simples do ScalaTest rodando via Maven (mvn test) processo de construção. Não há erros, mas infelizmente nenhum teste é executado.

Aqui está o meu arquivo .scala:
